Invitation to Quote – Town Hall Square Planting & Maintenance Contract

Keighley Town Council is pleased to invite quotations from suitably experienced and competent contractors for the maintenance of Town Hall Square.

This contract will cover a three-year term, commencing 1 November 2025 and concluding on 31 October 2028, with an estimated total value of £60,000.

Scope of Work Includes:

Grass cutting and edging

Planting of flower beds, tiered basket containers, and hanging baskets

Pruning, weeding, moss and leaf control

Fertilising and litter collection

General maintenance of landscaped areas

The contractor is expected to uphold the highest standards of public realm maintenance, ensuring that the area remains safe, clean, and visually appealing for all users.

Deadline for quotations: 12 noon, Friday 30 May 2025

Submission: By email to [email protected] or by sealed envelope to the Town Clerk, Keighley Town Council, Civic Centre, North Street, Keighley, BD21 3RZ

Evaluation Criteria: Quotations will be assessed on price (60%), method and delivery (20%), experience and references (10%), environmental sustainability (5%), and health and safety arrangements (5%).

Interested parties must comply with mandatory requirements including proof of insurance, a method statement, references, and completed pricing and response forms.
