Town Centre Planting
Keighley Town Council is responsible for the main floral displays within the Town, situated in the Town Centre as well as North Street, Cavendish Street and Low Street.
In 2022, the Town Council assumed responsibility for the floral tubs and barrier baskets previously looked after by Bradford MDC and the tubs are now planted twice each year with both a Summer and Winter/Spring display.
In addition to planters and barrier baskets, we also arrange for many local businesses to have hanging baskets on building frontages. We install and maintain these hanging baskets on behalf of the businesses for a small annual fee.
As part of our planting regime, we include flowers and plants that are bee and pollinator friendly as part of our commitment to make Keighley a bee friendly town.
