Roll the Dice: Keighley is Getting Its Very Own Monopoly!

Its time to put Keighley on the map! Literally on its very own Monopoly map. Keighley Town Council in partnership with Bradford District Council are designing a Keighley version of the worlds most popular board game.

The iconic board game will consist of entirely Keighley landmarks and locations. The game will bring together everything that is great about Keighley, its landmarks, its culture and its community spirit.

Keighley will join other UK locations such as, Lancaster, Yorkshire Dales, Bristol and Oxford which have also featured their own boards promoting their destinations.

Keighley Town Council are working in partnership with Winning Moves, who design and produce the Monopoly games on behalf of Hasbro. The Keighley board will be designed and produced over the summer ready for launch before Christmas 2025. (Monopoly).

A group consisting of the Town Mayor Cllr Gulfraz Hussain, the Town Clerk Joe Cooney, Cllr Caroline Firth, Cllr Alex Ross-Shaw and Tim Rodgers (Chairman of Towns Fund Board) have the onerous job of whittling down all the suggestions to the final 35 squares and 32 Chance & Community Chess Cards. The first 10 locations/landmarks have already been chosen to get the dice rolling!

But the board isn’t complete yet and that is where you come in! This is your chance to suggest which other Keighley landmarks should have a place in this special edition. Think local favourites, iconic spots, or hidden gems that deserve to be celebrated.
