The Ex-Mayor's Badge and the Ex-Mayoress's Brooch-Pendant
The Ex-Mayor's Badge
Combined Pendant and Brooch of modern design originally made in solid 18 ct gold but more recently of 9 ct gold bearing the Arms, Motto and Crest of the Borough of Keighley richly hand painted in Heraldic enamels surmounted by oak leaves,acorns and three fine quality aquamarines blending with the heraldic colours of the Arms.
A royal blue ribbon is attached and the Badge is contained in a case of rich red colour. The Badge is engraved on the reverse side with the name and period of office of the recipient, the case being suitably embossed with the Borough Arms and the initial letters of the recipient's name.

The Ex-Mayoress's Brooch-Pendant
Originally made in solid 18 ct gold but more recently of 9 ct gold and enamelled with the Keighley Coat of Arms surmounted by the dragon's head in relief as included in the existing Mayoress's chain and set with four fine quality aquamarines blending with the heraldic colour of the arms. A royal blue ribbon is attached and the brooch-pendant is contained in a case of similar colour.
The brooch-pendant is made so as to enable it to be worn either as a brooch or a pendant and it is engraved on the reverse side with the name and the period of office of the recipient, the case being suitably embossed with the Borough Arms and the initial letters of the recipient's name.
