Q1 How many Councillors are there on the Council?

There are 30 Councillors on the Council

Q2 How many Committees are there on the Council?

There are 8 committees on the Council

Q3 How many Councillors are on each Committee?

There are 8 Councillors on each committee except for Strategy & Policy and Events which consist of 5 Councillors

Q4 How often do the Committees meet?

All the Committees except for the Planning Committee meet monthly.  The Planning Committee meets every two weeks

Q7 What services does the Council run?

The Council runs the allotments and has control of the Town Hall Square

The Town Council organises the following events:

Q9 Does the Town Council have any applications for funding?

Yes the Town Council has two funding applications.  The Acorn Fund - which gives out up to £250 and the Oak Fund - which gives out up to £1,000.  Please contact the Town Clerk's office on 01535 618252 to enquire about possible funding
