Born in Keighley and a Fell Lane resident, I am strongly in favour of preserving Keighley's heritage and unique identity. As CEO of Keighley & District Volunteer Centre and Vice Chair of Keighley Disabled People's Centre, I have been involved in the local community for over 15 years. My work with Keighley & District Volunteer Centre has given me a thorough understanding of the needs in our community and the privileged ability to respond to many of those needs in a positive way. As the elected member for Fell Lane & Westburn, I will endeavour to play an active part in ensuring that Keighley Town Council remains focused on its responsibilities and mindful of its commitment to the electorate.
