Brian Morris was born and raised at Guardhouse; he is married with three children and five grandchildren. He was chairman of Keighley Town Council’s Allotments & Landscapes Committee from the time he was elected on to the Town Council in 2007 until he resigned in 2010.

Representing the Guardhouse Ward he is seen regularly around the estate dealing with resident’s complaints and questions.   Through his chairmanship and work on the council’s allotments they received national recognition by obtaining second place in a national competition.

His favorite work was looking for ways to improve and enhance the Town Hall Square’s flower beds and make the area more welcoming to residents and visitors alike.
