SLCC West Yorkshire Training Day - "Continuing Professional Development"

The next Training Day of the Society of Local Council Clerks (West Yorkshire Branch) will take place on 16 March 2007 at St Giles Church Hall, Church Hill, Bramhope, near Leeds. Church Hill is just off A660 Pool to Otley Road, the Church Hall is first left after the junction with the A660.  There is limited parking at the church hall.

Councillors and Clerks from all Parish and Town Councils in West Yorkshire are invited to join us for this event where the topic of "Continuing Professional Development" will be explored from different perspectives of Councillors, Clerks and the Council as a whole. 

The programme will commence at 10.00am (registration from 9.30am) to 1.15pm followed by lunch.  Speakers will include Councillor John Chilton, past Chairman of Holme Valley Parish Council, Ian Strong, Chief Officer of the Yorkshire Local Council's Associations and Chris Rolley, President of the Society of Local Council Clerks.

After lunch there will be the usual opportunity for informal networking; so come along to hear common sense about this topic!

The fee for the event is:-

Clerks and Councillors where the Clerk is an SLCC Member       £20

Non-SLCC Members                                                                £25

Cheques are payable to SLCC West Yorkshire Branch
